FOUR AWARDS FOR „MONTEVIDEO, TASTE OF A DREAM“ AT THE NIŠ FILM FESTIVAL
MILOŠ BIKOVIĆ RECEIVES “TSAR CONSTANTINE”

For his poignant interpretation of Aleksandar Tirnanić Tirke in the Serbian blockbuster “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream”, young actor Miloš Biković has received the “Tsar Constantine” award for Best Male Role in a Serbian film production at the 46th Film festival in Niš.
Another honor came the film’s way – Petar Strugar was declared Most Successful Debutant at this year’s review of domestic film in Niš, taken into consideration and awarded due to his role of Blagoje Moša Marjanović.
The jury, headed by appraised actress Ljiljana Stepanović, also decided to award Viktor Savić and thus give “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream” a third reason to celebrate – for his role of Milutinac he received Best Supporting Actor at this year’s festival. Viktor also had a second appearance that helped the jury make this call – in “Skinning” by Stevan Filipović.
Also, esteemed actor Branimir Brstina received the high-status “Žika Milenković” award for his comedy role of Boca in “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream”, while thirteen zears old Predrag Vasic who plays the role of small Stanoje was named for the Actor of the evening when the audience was shown the film “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream”.
The 46th Film Festival in Niš lasted from the 20th to the 24th of August during which time a careful selection of ten domestic films took part in the competition. The most prestigious award, Grand prix “Nais” was given to our famous actor Ljubomir Bandović for his roles in the movies “Sisters” and “The Enemy”, whilst the award “Czarina Theodora” went to Ivana Vuković for Best Female Role in the film „Sisters”.
