‘Montevideo, Taste of A Dream’ receives Special Mention at Pula Film Festival
The film “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream” produced by “Intermedia Network” and directed by Dragan Bjelogrlic won the International jury Special Mention at the 58th International Film Festival in Pula, held from the 9th until the 23rd of July.
The Serbian blockbuster was running against 21 other films in the main competition program of the eminent festival. The International jury which was unanimously decided to award a special prize Serbian film consisted of producer and jury president Paul Bradley, filmology Paolo Minuto, and actor Niels Schneider.
The Golden Arena for the best film in the international program was given to director Asghar Farhadi, producer of the Iranian film ‘Nader and Simin, the Golden Arena for best director went to Luca Guadagnino for ‘I am Love’, while the Golden Arena for Best Performance went to the whole cast of the Slovenian film ’Circus Fantasticus’.
