'Montevideo, Taste of A Dream' TV Series To Be broadcast on National Television of Serbia

Representatives of production company Intermedia Network and the National Television of Serbia(RTS) held a press conference today to mark the signing of an agreement validating that the TV series "Montevideo, Taste of a Dream" will be shown on Serbian National TV (RTS).

The film, which was widely popular across the region in 2010/2011 will premiere on Janauary 1st 2012 on RTS 1 whereas the long-awaited TV series, also directed by Dragan Bjelogrlic, is due to air in January/February 2012.

 

The romantic football story from the 1930s whose main plot revolves around the formation of the Serbian national team and the their success at the first ever World Cup in Uruguay is broken up into 24 episodes(two seasons), offering a more detailed account of events than the aforementioned feature film.
