TV Series “ Montevideo, Taste of a Dream” Starting February 13 on Serbian National TV

Viewers in Serbia will have the opportunity to watch TV series “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream” every Monday starting February 13, at 08:05 pm on the first national channel RTS1. It is a romantic football story set in 1930, which main theme is forming a national team and its success on the first World Cup in Montevideo.
The series “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream“ directed by Dragan Bjelogrlic and produced by Intermedia Network Company, will be broadcast on Serbian National TV in two seasons and in 24 episodes. The first season consists of 9 episodes.
It is very interesting to emphasize the fact that in comparison with the film, the series is a completely autonomous story having its own plot so that in this series version of the famous saga about football heroes from 1930, viewers will have the opportunity to watch over five hours of additional material which is not the part of the film.
Completely new actors such as Tanja Boskovic, Igor Djordjevic, Milovan Filipovic in the role of Milos Crnjanski, a well-known Serbian writer, as well as a special guest Miroslav Ciro Blazevic will be seen in the series taking roles we haven’t seen in the film. Dragan Petrovic Pele, Branka Pujic, Marko Nikolic, Gordana Djurdjevic, Marko Zivic, Bojan Dimitrijevic and young ladies Mihaela Stamenkovic and Anja Alac have been given considerably larger roles in the series than in the film.
